Hygiene and Sanitation

In many emergency situations, we lose hygiene and sanitation facilities. For example, when the water supply is shut down or contaminated, we are unable to flush the toilet, wash our hands, or clean the dishes. The resulting unsanitary conditions can lead to infections and disease that might not otherwise occur. In this case, having clean water, hand soap and dish soap on hand for emergencies can help with sanitation and hygiene needs.
