Orem Temple Dedication Information

The dedication of the Orem Utah Temple will be held on Sunday January 21st . The Stonewood Stake Center will become an extension of the Temple for this important service, and the Stake Presidency would like to bring to your attention a few items in preparation for the dedication services.

Two sessions will be held: 10:00 am, and 1:30 pm.

• The north and south entrance doors will open 45 minutes prior to the start of each session.
• To create a reverent environment, the doors will be CLOSED AND LOCKED 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
• [PLEASE NOTE: To attend the 10:00 session, you must arrive at the Stake Center between 9:15 and 9:45, and to attend the 1:30 session, you must arrive between 12:45 and 1:15.] 
• Church members 8 years and older will be admitted with a valid temple recommend.
• Any current recommend, including recommends for baptisms, will be accepted. – PLEASE, check your recommend expiration TODAY. Bishops and Branch Presidents will not be available for exceptions on that day.
• For members 8 years and older without a current recommend, they may visit with a member of their bishopric or Branch President to obtain a special recommend for the dedication.
• On dedication day, please have your recommend in hand when you arrive at the entrance door, to expedite the process.
• We would ask that blocks of seats not be reserved, and that families or groups of individuals arrive together rather than saving seats.
• Please bring a clean white handkerchief for each attendee to be used in the Hosannah Shout.

As an extension of the Temple, we would like to encourage the same level of reverence in our Stake Center for these meetings as exists in the temple itself, so that all can have a wonderful experience and feel the Spirit of the Lord.
